Beautiful historical mansion across from Forsyth Park in a quieter area of town but still within 15 minutes walk to most of Savannah’s attractions. The best thing about this place is the FOOD! The breakfasts are compromised of generously plated typical Southern food served at the Victorian porch overlooking the park! Wow - what a treat! They also serve appetizers late afternoon and nightly desserts, so don’t fill up on your dinner elsewhere. The kitchen staff accommodated my daughter’s special gluten free diet since she has celiac disease and were even careful about cross-contamination - you don’t get that everywhere and my daughter felt so spoiled. We go to Savannah often and this has become our favorite lodging in town.

We loved this inn, in a beautiful old Victorian on the edge of Forsyth park. The park itself is one of the most wonderful city parks we have seen-- it is worth the extra money to have such a great amenity literally right across the street. In addition, the location right on the DOT shuttle line made it so easy to get around Savannah - we only rented a car for one day to go out to Tybee Island. The porch -- just fabulous, for breakfast or chatting with guests at the happy hour. The room we had was a little small, but fine -- very comfortable bed. OH, and the breakfasts were delicious - we got to enjoy them for four days - every day was special.

Beautiful inn with kind, helpful staff. A delicious breakfast is served each morning in a lovely, sun filled room (or on the porch that overlooks the park when warm out). They had a nice fire in the fireplace going while we ate since it was a chillier week. There is a cocktail hour at 5 and dessert put out at 7:30. These added perks were great and we got to meet some of the other guests during these times. The cocktail hour in particular was popular. Parking is never an issue. We stayed for 6 nights and almost always found a spot either directly in front of the Inn or very close by.

Loved the location right across from Forsyth Park. We spent some time in the early evening sitting on the rocking chairs on the veranda, enjoyed the free wine and snacks after our day out and before going back out for a late dinner. It is a bit of a walk down to the riverfront but during the day was a nice walk through squares, plus there is the free DOT bus that stops right in front of the Inn to get back. Breakfast was wonderful, staff was super friendly, parking was easy, and we felt at home at the Inn. Would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Forsyth Park Inn. A beautiful historic inn, overlooking Forsyth Park. Our room was huge, the bed super comfortable, and the staff were incredible and were so helpful, with a great knowledge of Savannah and many spot on recommendations. My highlight was having our delicious breakfast on the patio every morning, as well as the complimentary wine & hors d'oeuvre each afternoon. It was so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the park. Such great hospitality, we can't wait to visit again one day!
